CWA DAY AT THE CAPITOL

Day at the Capitol is a full day of meeting with key legislators and staff in Sacramento to discuss the workforce development goings-on in our members’ local areas, as well as to inform legislators about the bills that the California Workforce Association is sponsoring, supporting, and opposing that are coming before them.

Event Details

CWA’s staff and Lobbyists will be helping up-skill attendees with talking points, tips for making meetings run smoothly, and guides to the Capitol Building and Legislature. First time attendees are welcome! CWA will also hosting a reception at the end of the day, for you to network and mingle with your local elected official’s and their staff.

Registration

Registration closed on February 7th and WILL NOT REOPEN. This is to ensure that we can schedule meetings with leadership, your own Assembly Members and Senators, and provide an accurate headcount for those offices.

Hotel Information

Unfortunately, we do not have a Hotel Room Block this year.
